MA Lines MTF

An MT5 indicator that draws MA10 horizontal lines for 9 timeframes (M1→MN1) on a single chart — every multi-timeframe support/resistance level without switching charts.

MA Lines MTF

Features

  • 9 MA10 horizontal lines for M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1, W1, MN1 — one color per timeframe, dashed across the full chart.
  • Lines track the MA of the live candle, updating on ticks and on a timer so they keep moving in thin sessions.
  • Timeframe labels pinned to the left edge, recomputed on scroll/zoom; hover a line for a tooltip with its price.
  • UP/DOWN badge in the lower-left: a timeframe reads UP (green) when price sits above its MA10, DOWN (red) below.
  • Jitter filter: lines redraw only once the MA moves past a tick threshold, labels shift only on a new bar — no flicker.
  • Auto-loads history for timeframes MT5 hasn't synced; on a short read it holds the last value and marks it ~ instead of dropping the line.
  • Hide timeframes below the chart's own TF in one switch, or toggle each timeframe individually.
  • Switch the MA period to 20/50… and it works right away, with the on-chart name following along.

Guide

  1. Download ma-lines.ex5 to your computer.
  2. Open MetaTrader 5, go to File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Indicators.
  3. Copy the .ex5 file into the Indicators folder, go back to MT5 and right-click Navigator → Refresh.
  4. Fastest way: double-click MA Lines MTF in the Navigator — the 9 MA lines appear on the current chart.
  5. (Or just drag MA Lines MTF from the Navigator onto a chart.)
  6. The first attach may take a few seconds while MT5 downloads enough D1/W1/MN1 history — the badge shows a ~ meanwhile, and the lines settle once it finishes.
  7. If the chart gets busy, turn some off with ShowD1/ShowW1/ShowMN1, or enable HideLowerTF to auto-hide timeframes below the one you're viewing.
  8. Note: test on a demo account before going live.
